2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING A FIRE
3 PREVENTION SPECIALIST OUT-OF-STATE TRAVEL TO
4 ATTEND THE NATIONAL FIRE ACADEMY IN
EMMITSBURG. MARYLAND FROM MARCH 5-16. 2007.
5 WHEREAS, the City Council concurs that it is the public interest to authorize out-
6
of-state travel for a Fire Prevention Specialist to attend Principles of Fire Protection
7
Structures and Systems course; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the FY 2006-2007 for out-of-state travel.
10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
11 Carlsbad, California, as follows:
12 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the out-of-state travel is hereby authorized in accordance with City
14
policy, for a Fire Prevention Specialist to attend Principles of Fire Protection
15
Structures and Systems in Emmitsburg, Maryland, from March 5-16, 2007.
