2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING DONATIONS OF
3 $6,623.39 IN CASH IN SUPPORT OF THE CARRILLO
4 RANCH TRUST FUND, LEO CARRILLO RANCH HISTORIC
PARK

6 WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept cash donations totaling $6,623.39
7 in support of the Carrillo Ranch Trust Fund; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to acknowledge the generosity and support
9 of individuals, groups, organizations, and anonymous contributors that donated to the
10
Trust; and,

WHEREAS, on January 18, 2007, the Parks and Recreation Commission
12
received donations totaling $6,623.39, and recommended acceptance by the City
Council.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
16 Carlsbad, California, as follows:
17 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
18 2. That the City Council does hereby accept $6,623.39 in cash.

3. That the City Council hereby authorizes the Finance Director to
20
appropriate the above funds into the Carrillo Ranch Trust Fund, Account21
22 #149-4504-5651.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 6th day of March, 2007, by the following vote:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard
NOES: None
ABSENT: Council Member Sigafoose
