2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE GENERAL PLAN
3 IMPLEMENTATION STATUS REPORT FOR JULY 2005
THROUGH DECEMBER 2006.

WHEREAS, the California Government Code Section 65400 requires that all
5
California cities and counties provide an annual report to the legislative body, the Office of
6
Planning and Research and the California Department of Housing and Community Development
7
on the status of the plan and progress in its implementation, including the progress in meeting
8
its share of the regional housing needs determined pursuant to Section 65584 and local efforts
9
to remove governmental constraints to the maintenance, improvement, and development of
housing pursuant to paragraph (3) of subdivision (c) of Section 65583; and
WHEREAS, the current report covers the period of July 2005 through December
2006; and13
14 NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, does
hereby resolve as follows:
16 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
17 2. That the City Council of the City of Carlsbad accepts the report and directs the
Planning Director to submit the report to the California Office of Planning and Research and the
