2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, , AUTHORIZING OUT-OF-STATE
3 TRAVEL FOR THE CITY TREASURER TO ATTEND
4 TRANSFORMING LOCAL GOVERNMENT CONFERENCE IN
BELLEVUE. WASHINGTON

WHEREAS, the City Council concurs that it is in the public interest to authorize out-of-
7
state travel for the City Treasurer to attend the Transforming Local Government
8 conference; and

WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes that this is an opportunity to obtain valuable
11
education; and
12

WHEREAS, funds are available in the amount of $1,550.00 in the FY 2006-07 Treasury
14
Department budget.

16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
18 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.

2. That permission is granted to City Treasurer Harold (Mac) McSherry to travel out-
20 of-state to attend this conference.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 20th day of March, 2007, by the following vote:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Hall, Packard.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Mayor Pro Tern Kulchin.
