2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE CONSTRUCTION
3 CONTRACT ON THE NORTH BATIQUITOS LIFT STATION
IMPROVEMENTS. PACKAGE "B", PROJECT NO. 3809-2

WHEREAS, the construction of the North Batiquitos Lift Station Improvements, Package
5
"B" has been completed to the City's satisfaction by Value Engineering Inc. on February 28, 2007;
6
and
7
WHEREAS, the formal project Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
8
WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,10
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
13 2. That the North Batiquitos Lift Station Improvements, Package "B", specifically
14 identified as Project No. 3809-2, is deemed complete and is hereby accepted by the City Council
15 of the City of Carlsbad.
16 3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to
17 execute and record the Notice of Completion for the North Batiquitos Lift Station Improvements,
18 Package "B", Project No. 3809-2.

of the City of Carlsbad on the day of 27th March, 2007, by the following vote:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
