1 RESOLUTION NO. 2007-115
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING AN AMENDMENT
3 TO THE CONTRACT FOR HELP DESK SERVICES WITH
4 ACS STATE AND LOCAL SOLUTIONS. INC.
5 WHEREAS, on May 27, 2003 the city executed a four (4) year agreement with
6 ACS State and Local Solutions, Inc. to provide help desk services to the city; and
7 WHEREAS, on May 26, 2007 the contract will expire; and
8 WHEREAS, the city has negotiated a six (6) month extension with ACS State
9
and Local Solutions, Inc. to provide these services; and
10 WHEREAS, sufficient funds have been budgeted and are available for use in the
11
Information Technology Department budget.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
14 Carlsbad, California, as follows:
15 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
16 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute Amendment No. 4
17 between the City of Carlsbad and ACS State and Local Solutions, Inc. for
18 help desk services, a copy of which is attached as Exhibit A.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 15th day of May, 2007, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Nygaard
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
