A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
3 CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE WORK AS
COMPLETE AND DIRECTING THE RECORDATION OF THE
4 NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR REMODEL OF TWO PARK
RESTROOMS AND RE-ROOF OF MAINTENANCE BUILDNG,
5 CONTRACT NO. PKS06-02. PROJECT NOS. 38971 AND 39431.
6 WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2006-243 approving contract
7 documents, special provisions and specifications, and authorized the City Clerk to advertise for
8 bids to Remodel Two Park Restrooms and Re-Roof a Maintenance Building, hereinafter referred
to as the "Project;" and
10 WHEREAS, the City Council has previously awarded a contract for the Project; and
11 WHEREAS, the Project work has been satisfactorily completed; and
12 WHEREAS, a Notice of Completion has been prepared for the Project; and
13 WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds it necessary, desirable, and in the public interest
14 to accept the completed work to Remodel Two Park Restrooms and Re-Roof a Maintenance
15 Building.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
17 California, as follows:
18 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
^ 2. That the completed work is hereby accepted and the City Clerk is directed to record the
Of)^u Notice of Completion and to release bonds in accordance with State Law and City Ordinances.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 26TH day of June, 2007, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Nygaard
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
