2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD,
CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING AN EIGHTEEN HUNDRED DOLLAR ($1,800) DONATION
3 OF SOCCER GOAL NETS, NET SUPPORT POLES AND ASSOCIATED MOUNTING
4 HARDWARE FOR AVIARA COMMUNITY PARK.

WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept the donation of equipment and

supplies totaling $1,800 from Mr. Michael Stewart, on behalf of the La Costa Regional
7
Chapter of the American Youth Soccer Association (AYSO), and;8
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to acknowledge the generosity and support
of Mr. Michael Stewart and AYSO, and;
11 WHEREAS, on February 12, 2007, the Parks and Recreation Commission
12 received a donation of equipment and supplies totaling $1,800 and recommended
13 acceptance by the City Council.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,

California, as follows:

1. That the above recitations are true and correct.18
19 2. That the City Council does hereby accept the $1,800 donation of
20 equipment and supplies for the benefit of Aviara Community Park.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 10th day of July, 2007, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Nygaard.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
