RESOLUTION NO. 2007-188

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
3 CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A GIFT OF MONEY FOR
THE FIRE DEPARTMENT EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES FUND.

WHEREAS, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Labensky wish to make a donation of $1,000 for the Fire
5
Department Emergency Medical Services Fund; and
6
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept this gift pursuant to Sections 37354 and
7
37355 of the California Government Code.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
9
California, as follows:

1. That the above recitations are true and correct;11
2. That the City Council accepts the gift of money for the Fire Department
Emergency Medical Services Fund; and

3. That the Finance Director is authorized to appropriate $1,000 to the Fire14
Department Emergency Medical Services Fund.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 24th day of July, 2007, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Nygaard.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Council Member Lewis.
