A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
3 CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING DONATIONS IN
FISCAL YEAR 2006-07 FOR PARK MEMORIAL BENCHES.

5 WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad Public Works Parks Maintenance Department
6 administers a Parks Memorial Bench/Tree Program, and
7 WHEREAS, Ms. Judy Ledesma and Mr. Ron Ball have each donated $850, in Fiscal
8 Year 2006-07, to the City of Carlsbad for the express purpose of purchasing park memorial
9 benches, and
I ° WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept these donations, totaling $1,700;
I1 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
12 California, as follows:
13 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
14 2. That the City Council accepts the donations in Fiscal Year 2006-07 from Ms. Judy
Ledesma and Mr. Ron Ball, totaling $1,700, on behalf of all citizens of Carlsbad.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 24th day of July, 2007, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Nygaard.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Council Member Lewis.
