RESOLUTION NO. 2007-193
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING THE CONTINUED
LEGAL SERVICES OF ALHADEF & SOLAR, LLP WHO HAVE
MERGED WITH THE LAW OFFICES BUCHANAN INGERSOLL &
ROONEY, LLP AS SPECIAL COUNSEL FOR THE CARLSBAD
DESALINATION FACILITY
WHEREAS, the City Attorney retained the law firm of Alhadef & Solar, LLP
as special counsel for the Carlsbad Desalination Facility; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney has received notification that the law firm of
Alhadef & Solar, LLP has merged with and are currently named Buchanan
Ingersoll & Rooney, LLP; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1 . That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Attorney is hereby notified that the law firm of Alhadef &
Solar, LLP are now the law firm of Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney, LLP and said
firm is added to the list law firms providing specialized legal services in the area of
water law.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 24th day of July, 2007, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Nygaard.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Council Member Lewis.
