RESOLUTION NO. 2007-206

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
3 CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE WORK AS
COMPLETE AND DIRECTING THE RECORDATION OF THE
4 NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR SUMMER 2006 CITY WIDE CURB,
GUTTER, SIDEWALK REPAIRS CONTRACT NO. PWS06-30STS,
5 PROJECT NO. PWSGS218.
6 WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2006-177 approving contract
7 documents, special provisions and specifications, and authorized the City Clerk to advertise for
8 bids to perform Contract PWS0630-STS, Project No. PWSGS218 Summer 2006 Citywide Curb,
9 Gutter, Sidewalk Repairs, hereinafter referred to as the "Project;" and
10 WHEREAS, the City Council has previously awarded a contract for the Project; and
11 WHEREAS, the Project work has been satisfactorily completed; and
12 WHEREAS, a Notice of Completion has been prepared for the Project; and
13 WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds it necessary, desirable, and in the public interest
14 to accept the completed work to perform Contract PWS0630-STS, Project No. PWSGS218
15 Summer 2006 Citywide Curb, Gutter, Sidewalk Repairs.
16 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
17 California, as follows:
18 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
19 2. That the completed work is hereby accepted and the City Clerk is directed to
2® record *ne Notice of Completion and to release bonds in accordance with State Law and City
91 Ordinances.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 7th day of August, 2007, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Nygaard.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
