A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
3 CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE CONSTRUCTION
CONTRACT ON THE EL CAMINO REAL/FARADAY AVENUE
4 INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS, FARADAY AVENUE/ORION
STREET TRAFFIC SIGNAL, AND FARADAY
5 AVENUE/PRIESTLY DRIVE TRAFFIC SIGNAL, PROJECT NOS.
36071. 36211. AND 63041

WHEREAS, the construction of the El Camino Real/Faraday Avenue Intersection
7
Improvements, Faraday Avenue/Orion Street Traffic Signal, and Faraday Avenue/Priestly Drive
8
Traffic Signal was completed to the City's satisfaction by Hillcrest Contracting, Inc. on June 29,
9
2007; and
10
WHEREAS, the formal project Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
11
WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,

California, as follows:14
. 5 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
15 2. That the El Camino Real/Faraday Avenue Intersection Improvements, Faraday
17 Avenue/Orion Street Traffic Signal, and Faraday Avenue/Priestly Drive Traffic Signal, Project Nos.
18 36071, 36211 and 63041 is deemed complete and is hereby accepted by the City Council of the
19 City of Carlsbad.
20 3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to
21 executed and record the Notice of Completion for the El Camino Real/Faraday Avenue
22 Intersection Improvements, Faraday Avenue/Orion Street Traffic Signal, and Faraday
23 Avenue/Priestly Drive Traffic Signal, Project Nos. 36071, 36211 and 63041.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Joint Special Meeting of the
Carlsbad City Council and Carlsbad Municipal Water District Board of Directors held on
the 7th day of August, 2007, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Nygaard.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
