RESOLUTION NO. 2007-233

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
3 CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A GIFT OF MONEY TO THE
FIRE DEPARTMENT FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES .

WHEREAS, Mrs. Ruth Olsman wishes to make a donation of $1,000 to the Fire
5
Department for Emergency Medical Services; and
6
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept this gift pursuant to Sections 37354 and
7
37355 of the California Government Code; and
8
WHEREAS, the donation of $1,000 is intended for appropriation to the Fire Department
9
for Emergency Medical Services.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,11
California, as follows:

1. That the above recitations are true and correct;13
2. That the City Council accepts the gift of money to the Fire Department for14
Emergency Medical Services; and15
3. That the Finance Director is authorized to appropriate $1,000 to the Fire16
Department for Emergency Medical Services.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 11th day of September 2007, by the following vote to wit:
