2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A DONATION OF
3 $3,700 IN GOODS AND SERVICES IN SUPPORT OF THE
4 LEO CARRILLO RANCH HISTORIC PARK FROM THE
FRIENDS OF CARRILLO RANCH, INC.

WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept a donation of goods and services

totaling $3,700 in support of the Leo Carrillo Ranch Historic Park from the Friends of8
9 Carrillo Ranch, Inc.; and,
10 WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to acknowledge the generosity and support
11 of the Friends of Carrillo Ranch, Inc. and their volunteers; and,
12 WHEREAS, on November 19, 2007, the Parks and Recreation Commission
13 received donations of goods and services from The Friends of Carrillo Ranch, Inc.
14 totaling $3,700, and recommended acceptance by the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of

Carlsbad, California, as follows:

1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
19 2. That the City Council does hereby accept the donation of $3,700 in goods
20 and services from the Friends of Carrillo Ranch, Inc.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 18th day of December, 2007, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Nygaard.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
