1 RESOLUTION NO. 2008-006
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE REVISED
3 HOURLY SALARY SCHEDULE.

5 WHEREAS, the City Council desires hourly and unclassified salaries to remain
6 competitive for comparable positions in the market; and
7 WHEREAS, the City Council requires revisions in the salary schedule for hourly
8 employees to stay competitive in the current job market.
9 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
10 Carlsbad, California, as follows:

1. That the above recitations are true and correct.12
2. That the Hourly Salary Schedule (Attachment A) attached hereto is hereby
14 approved and adopted.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 8th day of January, 2008, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Nygaard.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
