2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTANCE OF DONATION
3 FROM JOAN KINDLE, VOLUNTEER CURATOR.

5 WHEREAS, the City Council of Carlsbad, California wishes to accept cash
6 donations from the sale handmade crafts produced by Joan Kindle, Volunteer Curator of
7 the Leo Carrillo Ranch Historic Park.
8 WHEREAS, The City Council of the Carlsbad, California wishes to thank Joan
9
Kindle for the donation of her time, talent and financial resources to support the Leo
10
Carrillo Ranch Historic Park.

WHEREAS, on February 2, 2008 the Parks and Recreation Commission
13 received the donation and recommended acceptance by the City Council
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
15 Carlsbad, California, as follows:
16 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
17 2. That the City Council does hereby accept the cash donation totaling
18
$1,020.

1 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
2 of the City of Carlsbad on the 25th day of March, 2008, by the following vote to wit:

4 AYES: Council Members Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Nygaard.

6 NOES: None.

8 ABSENT: Council Member Lewis.
