CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, REFUNDING BUSINESS
3 LICENSE TAX PAYMENT TO ACCOR NORTH AMERICA -
4 MOTEL 6 #471.

WHEREAS, Accor North America - Motel 6 #471 made a duplicate payment for
6
their business license taxes to the City of Carlsbad; and
7
WHEREAS, the Finance Department confirmed the duplicate payment by Accor8
North America - Motel 6 #471 and verified the refund amount.
10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
11 Carlsbad, California, as follows:
12 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That a refund of business license tax of $835 to Accor North America -

Motel 6 #471 is authorized.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 6th day of May, 2008, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Nygaard.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
