RENAMING LUPINE ROAD TO SANDERLING COURT
IN LOCAL FACILITIES MANAGEMENT ZONE 19.

I, Sherry Freisinger, Deputy Clerk of the City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego,
State of California, hereby certify that I have compared the foregoing copy with the
original RESOLUTION NO. 2008-155. APPROVING A STREET NAME CHANGE.
RENAMING LUPINE ROAD TO SANDERLING COURT IN LOCAL FACILITIES
MANAGEMENT ZONE 19 with the original now on file in the Office of the City Clerk
of the City of Carlsbad; that the same contains a full, true and correct transcript
therefrom and of the whole thereof.

2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A STREET NAME
3 CHANGE, RENAMING LUPINE ROAD TO SANDERLING
COURT IN LOCAL FACILITIES MANAGEMENT ZONE 19.
4 CASE NAME: LUPINE ROAD STREET NAME CHANGE
5 CASE NO.: SNC 07-02
6 WHEREAS, renaming Lupine Road to Sanderling Court conforms to City
7 Council Policy Statement No. 20 and will ensure street name consistency and eliminate
8 confusion for emergency services and the general public; and
o WHEREAS, the proposed change would not inconvenience existing or
10 future residents as there are no structures, residences, or residential lots addressed off
11
of Lupine Road; and
12
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, on the mi-h day
of June 2008, considered said Street Name Change and at that time received
jc recommendations, objections, protests, and comments of all persons interested in or
16 opposed to SNC 07-02.
17 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of
18 the City of Carlsbad as follows:
19 1. That all recitations are true and correct.
20 2. That Street Name Change (SNC 07-02) is adopted and Lupine
21 Road is renamed Sanderling Court.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 10th day of June, 2008, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall and Nygaard.
