RESOLUTION NO. 2008-241
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A
3 DONATION FROM THE PT. LOMA CREDIT UNION
AND APPROPRIATING THE FUNDS4

WHEREAS, in commemoration of 60 years of service, the Pt. Loma Credit
6
Union has provided a donation to the Carlsbad City Library in the amount of $870.00;
7

9 WHEREAS, the Pt. Loma Credit Union has stipulated that these funds be used
10 for the purchase of 60 books for the young adult collection at the Dove Lane location
11 of the Carlsbad City Library;
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
13 Carlsbad, California, as follows:

1. That the above recitations are true and correct.15
16 2. That the City Council accepts the donation of $870.00 from the Pt. Loma
17 Credit Union and hereby authorizes the Finance Director to appropriate the
18 received funds to the Library budget.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 9th day of September, 2008, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Nygaard.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
