2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ONE MEMBER
3 TO THE PARKS AND RECREATION COMMISSION

5 WHEREAS, Marlaine Hubbard has resigned from the Parks and
6 Recreation Commission leaving a term that expires in August 2009.
7 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
8 Carlsbad, California, as follows:
9 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
10 2. That the following person is hereby appointed to serve as a member of the
11 Parks and Recreation Commission for a term to expire in August 2009:

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad held on the 23rd day of September, 2008, by the following vote to
wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Nygaard.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
