A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE
2008-09 MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING FOR
THE SRO PROGRAM BETWEEN THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD AND THE CARLSBAD UNIFIED SCHOOL
DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad has agreed to provide the Carlsbad Unified
School District with the School Resource Officer ("SRO") Program for the school
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
15 Carlsbad, California, as follows:

1. That the above recitations are true and correct.

2. That the Memorandum of Understanding for the SRO Program between18
the City of Carlsbad and the Carlsbad Unified School District is hereby approved.
3. That the Mayor of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed
to execute said agreement for and on behalf of the City of Carlsbad, California.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 7th day of October, 2008, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Nygaard.
