A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
3 CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE CONTRACT FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF THE UPPER AND LOWER FARADAY
4 SEWER LIFT STATION REMOVAL. PROJECT NO. 55051.
5 WHEREAS, the construction of the Upper and Lower Faraday Sewer Lift Station
6 Removal has been completed to the City's satisfaction by Don Hubbard Contracting Company on
7 October 3, 2008; and
8 WHEREAS, the formal project Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
9 WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.
10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
12 1 . That the above recitations are true and correct.
13 2. That the Upper and Lower Faraday Sewer Lift Station Removal, specifically
14 identified as Project No. 55051 is deemed complete and is hereby accepted by the City Council of
15 the City of Carlsbad.

3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to
17
execute and record the Notice of Completion for the Upper and Lower Faraday Sewer Lift Station
18
Removal, Project No. 55051 .

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 4th day of November, 2008, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Nygaard.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
