2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE CONTRACT FOR
3 CONSTRUCTION OF THE FY 07/08 CONCRETE
REPLACEMENT. PROJECT NO. 6013

WHEREAS, the construction of the FY 07/08 Concrete Replacement was substantially
5
completed on August 13, 2008; and
6
WHEREAS, all work has been completed to the City's satisfaction by Portillo Concrete
7
Inc.; and
8
WHEREAS, the formal project Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
9
WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:12
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.I O
-14 2. That the FY 07/08 Concrete Replacement project, specifically identified as
15 Project No. 6013, is deemed complete and is hereby accepted by the City Council of the City of
1g Carlsbad.
17 3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to
18 execute and record the Notice of Completion for the FY 07/08 Concrete Replacement, Project No.
19 6013.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 4th day of November, 2008, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Nygaard.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
