A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
3 CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE CONTRACT FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF THE CYNTHIA LANE STORM DRAIN
4 IMPROVEMENTS. PROJECT NO. 6601.
5 WHEREAS, the construction of the Cynthia Lane Storm Drain Improvements was
6 substantially completed on June 27, 2008, and punch list work was completed to the City's
7 satisfaction by Southwest Civil Contracting, Inc. on October 1, 2008; and
8 WHEREAS, the formal project Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
9 WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.
10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
1 California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
13 2. That the Cynthia Lane Storm Drain Improvements, specifically identified as
14 Project No. 6601, is deemed complete and is hereby accepted by the City Council of the City of
15 Carlsbad.

3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to
17
execute and record the Notice of Completion and to release bonds in accordance with State Law
18
and City Ordinances for the Cynthia Lane Storm Drain Improvements, Project No. 6601.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 4th day of November, 2008, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Nygaard.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
