A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
3 CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE CONTRACT FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF THE 2007 SLURRY SEAL PROJECT,
4 PROJECT NO. 3667-14
5 WHEREAS, the construction of the 2007 Slurry Seal Project was substantially completed
6 on May 05, 2008, and all punch list work was completed on September 08, 2008; and
7 WHEREAS, all work has been completed to the City's satisfaction by Roy Allan Slurry
8 Seal, Inc.; and
9 WHEREAS, the formal project Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
10 WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
12 California, as follows:
13 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
14 2. That the 2007 Slurry Seal Project, specifically identified as Project No. 3667-14,
15 is deemed complete and is hereby accepted by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad.

3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to
17
execute and record the Notice of Completion for the 2007 Slurry Seal Project,
18
Project No. 3667-14.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 16th day of December, 2008, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Blackburn.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
