RESOLUTION NO. 2009-022

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
3 CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE CONTRACT FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF THE POINSETTIA SEWAGE LIFT
4 STATION UPGRADE. PROJECT NO. 38751.
5 WHEREAS, the construction of the Poinsettia Sewage Lift Station Upgrade was
6 completed on November 21, 2008; and
7 WHEREAS, all work has been completed to the City's satisfaction by Rangel
8 Development Group, Inc.; and
9 WHEREAS, the formal project Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
California, as follows:
13 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
14 2. That the Poinsettia Sewage Lift Station Upgrade, specifically identified as Project
15 No. 38751, is deemed complete and is hereby accepted by the City Council of the City of
16 Carlsbad.

3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to
18
execute and record the Notice of Completion for the Poinsettia Sewage Lift Station Upgrade,
19
Project No. 38751.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 10th day of February, 2009, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Blackburn.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
