A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE WORK AS
COMPLETE AND DIRECTING THE RECORDATION OF THE
NOTICE OF COMPLETION FOR , PROJECT NO. 6021, CONTRACT

NO. STS 08-02. SUMMER 2008 CONCRETE REPAIRS - AL1.

WHEREAS, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2008-211 approving contract
6
documents, special provisions and specifications, and authorized the City Clerk to advertise for
7
bids to perform Project No. 6021, Contract No. STS 08-02, Summer 2008 Concrete Repairs -
8
AL1, hereinafter referred to as the "Project"; and
9
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously awarded a contract for the Project; and
10
WHEREAS, the Project work has been satisfactorily completed; and
11
WHEREAS, a Notice of Completion has been prepared for the Project; and
12
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds it necessary, desirable, and in the public interest
13
to accept the completed work to perform Project No. 6021, Contract No. STS 08-02, Summer 2008

Concrete Repairs

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,16
California, as follows:17
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.18
2. That the completed work is hereby accepted and the City Clerk is directed to recordi y
the Notice of Completion and to release bonds in accordance with State Law and City Ordinances.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 10th day of February, 2009, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Blackburn.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
