in the Bressi Ranch area of the City of Carlsbad, Stater Bros. Charities has provided

RESOLUTION NO. 2009-040
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A
DONATION FROM STATER BROS. CHARITIES AND
WHEREAS, Stater Bros. Charities has stipulated that these funds be used for
the purchase of children's books for the Carlsbad City Library;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
12 Carlsbad, California, as follows:

1. That the above recitations are true and correct.

2. That the City Council accepts the donation of $2,500 from Stater Bros.
Charities and hereby authorizes the Finance Director to appropriate the
received funds to the Library budget.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 10th day of March, 2009, by the following vote to wit:
