2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, REFUNDING BUSINESS
3 LICENSE TAX PAYMENT TO GRAND PACIFIC
4 PALISADES HOTEL, L.P.

WHEREAS, Grand Pacific Palisades Hotel, L.P. made a duplicate payment for
6
their business license taxes to the City of Carlsbad; and
7
WHEREAS, the Finance Department confirmed the duplicate payment by Grand8
Pacific Palisades Hotel, L.P. and verified the refund amount.
10 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
11 Carlsbad, California, as follows:
12 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That a refund of business license tax of $1,423 to Grand Pacific Palisades

Hotel, L.P. is authorized.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 12th day of May, 2009, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall and Blackburn.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Council Member Packard.
