2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A DONATION OF
3 IN-KIND SERVICES FROM THE QUESTERS EL CAMINO
4 REAL CHAPTER.

WHEREAS, the City Council of Carlsbad, California wishes to accept a donation
6
of in-kind furniture and clothing restoration and cleaning services from the Questers El
7
Camino Real Chapter; and8
9 WHEREAS, The City Council of the Carlsbad, California wishes to thank the
10 Questers for their generosity and their commitment to improving the visitor experience
11 through their support of Leo Carrillo Ranch Historic Park and its collection of artifacts
12 and memorabilia; and
13 WHEREAS, on June 15, 2009, the Parks and Recreation Commission received
14 the donation and recommended acceptance by the City Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of

Carlsbad, California, as follows:

1. That the above recitations are true and correct.

19 2. That the City Council does hereby accept the in-kind furniture and clothing
20 restoration and cleaning services in the amount of $4,000 from the
21 Questers El Camino Real Chapter.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 14th day of July, 2009, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Blackburn.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
