A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE
DONATION FROM KEITH BLACKBURN IN THE AMOUNT
4 $4,000 IN SUPPORT OF THE CARLSBAD SENIOR CENTER.
WHEREAS, the donation was received from Keith Blackburn; and
WHEREAS, June 4, 2009 the Senior Commission recommended acceptance of
a cash donation $4,000; and
9 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, wishes to
10 acknowledge the generosity and support of Keith Blackburn;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
12 Carlsbad, California, as follows:
13 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
14 2. That the City Council does hereby accept the cash donation totaling $4,000.
15 3. That the City Council authorizes the Finance Director to appropriate the
$4,000 donation into the Senior Program Donation Account.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 21st day of July, 2009, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Blackburn.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
