4 THE AMOUNT $1,000 IN SUPPORT OF THE CARLSBAD
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE DONATION
FROM CARLSBAD SENIOR CITIZENS' ASSOCIATION IN
THE AMOUNT $1,0

WHEREAS, the donation was received from the Carlsbad Senior

Citizens' Association to support the Carlsbad Senior Center, and
8
WHEREAS, on September 3, 2009 the Senior Commission recommended the
acceptance of a cash donation in the amount of $1,000; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to acknowledge the generosity and support
of the Carlsbad Senior Citizens' Association.12
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, as follows:14
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
16 2. That the City Council does hereby accept the cash donation of $1,000, from
17 the Carlsbad Senior Citizens' Association.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on toe 20p day of October. 2009, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Blackburn.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
