A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
3 CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING DONATIONS OF $2,370 IN
IN-KIND PRODUCTS AND SERVICES IN SUPPORT OF THE
4 2009 SNORES & S'MORES SAFARI CAMPOUT.

WHEREAS, the Snores & S'mores Safari Campout was held on6
j August 15, 2009 in Carlsbad; and
8 WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept the donations of products and
9 in-kind service donations totaling $2,370 in support of the Snores & S'mores Safari
10 Campout, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit 2 and made a part hereof;
11 and
12 WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to acknowledge the generosity and support
13
of community vendors and organizations that donated to this special event; and
14
WHEREAS, on September 21, the Parks and Recreation Commission received
15
products and in-kind services totaling $2,370 and recommends acceptance by the16
17 Council.
18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
19 Carlsbad, California, the following:
20 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
21 2. That the City Council does hereby accept $2,370 in products and in-kind
22 service donations as itemized in Exhibit 2.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 2081 day of October. 2009, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Blackburn.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
