2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A CASH
3 DONATION IN THE AMOUNT OF $500 TO THE
4 RECREATION DEPARTMENT OPPORTUNITY GRANTS
PROGRAM.
6 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Carlsbad, California, wishes to accept
7 a cash donation in the amount of $500 and acknowledge the generosity and support of
8 Imperial Capital Bank; and
9 WHEREAS, the funds will be used to promote and support the Recreation
10 Department Opportunity Grants Program; and
11
WHEREAS, on November 16, 2009 the City's Parks and Recreation Commission
12
received the cash donation and has recommended acceptance of the cash donation by
13
the City Council.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
16 Carlsbad, California, as follows:
17 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.

2. That the City Council does hereby accept the cash donation in the amount of
19 $500.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 8th day of December. 2009, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Blackburn.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
