1 RESOLUTION NO. 2009-325
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ONE MEMBER
3 TO THE HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION

5 WHEREAS, the term of Joyce Smith expired May, 2009; and
6 WHEREAS, Ms. Smith was appointed to serve in the category of, "A different
7 recognized expertise in architecture, archeology, history, biology, engineering or
8 geology or related field";
9 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
10 Carlsbad, California, as follows:

1. That the above recitations are true and correct.

2. That the following person is hereby appointed to serve as a member of the
14 Historic Preservation Commission for a term to expire in June, 2013, in the category of,
15 "a different recognized expertise in architecture, archeology, history, biology,
16 engineering or geology or related field";

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 22nd day of December. 2009, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, and Blackburn.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Council Member Packard.
