A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
3 CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE CONTRACT FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF THE TRAFFIC SIGNAL AT FARADAY AVENUE
. AND RUTHERFORD ROAD, PROJECT NO. 6312-1.
5 WHEREAS, the construction of the Traffic Signal at Faraday Avenue and Rutherford
Road, Project No. 6312-1, has been completed to the City's satisfaction by T&M Electric, Inc. dba
Perry Electric on September 2, 2009; and
WHEREAS, the punch list was completed and administrative issues were resolved on
March 12, 2010; and
WHEREAS, the formal project Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.
-12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
13 California, as follows:
14 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
15 2. That the Traffic Signal at Faraday Avenue and Rutherford Road, specifically
16 identified as Project No. 6312-1 is deemed complete and is hereby accepted by the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad.
18 3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to
1Q execute and record the Notice of Completion for the Traffic Signal at Faraday Avenue and
Rutherford Road, Project No. 6312-1.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 13th day of April, 2010, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Blackburn.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
