A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
3 CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A DONATION
4 FROM MRS. GRACIELA QUESADA
5..
WHEREAS, Mrs. Graciela Quesada has generously offered to donate $1,200 to
6
support the William D. Cannon Art Gallery's Three-Part-Art education program; and
7
WHEREAS, this donation will provide partial funding for busing third- and fourth-8
g graders from Title One schools in Carlsbad to the William D. Cannon Art Gallery to
10 participate in its Three-Part-Art education program;
11 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
12 Carlsbad, California, as follows:
13 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council accepts the donation of $1,200 from Mrs. Graciela
Quesada for busing activities related to the Three-Part-Art education program.

3. That the City Council acknowledges the donation with an appropriate letter of
17
thanks.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 7th day of December, 2010, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Lewis, Kulchin, Hall, Packard and Blackburn.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
