WHEREAS, Commissioner Mike O'Connell has resigned from the Senior5

9 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
10 Carlsbad, California, as follows that:

1. The above recitations are true and correct.

RESOLUTION NO. 2011-063
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPOINTING ONE MEMBER TO
THE SENIOR COMMISSION.
Commission due to scheduling conflicts; and
WHEREAS, one appointment to the Senior Commission is needed to fill Mr.
O'Connell's unexpired term.
2. The resignation of Commissioner O'Connell is accepted.
3. The following person is hereby appointed to serve as a member of the
Senior Commission for a term to expire in September 2011:
