A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
3 CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE CONTRACT FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF THE BEECH AVENUE SEWER AND
4 HOME PLANT LIFT STATION INFLUENT SEWER
REPLACEMENT, PROJECT NOS. 3873 & 5512, AS COMPLETE.

WHEREAS, the construction of the Beech Avenue Sewer and Home Plant Lift Station
6
Influent Sewer Replacement, Project Nos. 3873 & 5512, has been completed to the City's
7
satisfaction by Mike Prlich & Sons, Inc. on February 14, 2011; and
8
WHEREAS, the final contract change order was executed July 26, 2011; and
9
WHEREAS, the formal project Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
10
WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad,
12
California, as follows:

1. That the above recitations are true and correct.14
... 2. That the Beech Avenue Sewer and Home Plant Lift Station Influent Sewerlo
16 Replacement, specifically identified as Project Nos. 3873 & 5512 is deemed complete and is
17 hereby accepted by the City Council of the City of Carlsbad.
13 3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to
19 execute and record the Notice of Completion for the Beech Avenue Sewer and Home Plant Lift
20 Station Influent Sewer Replacement, Project Nos. 3873 & 5512.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 13th day of September 2011, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Hall, Kulchin, Blackburn, Douglas, Packard.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
