A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
3 CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE DONATION OF
ONE TOMAR ELECTRONICS "SCORPION" LIGHTBAR VALUED
4 AT $1500,
WHEREAS, the Carisbad Police Department has established the Tomar Electronics
"Scorpion" lightbar to be the standard lightbar to be installed on all Police Patrol vehicles; and
WHEREAS, the Carisbad Police Department and Tomar Electronics recently made an
agreement to demonstrate a Tomar "Scorpion" lightbar installed on a Carisbad Police
Department Vehicle at the COPSWEST expo in Ontario California; and
WHEREAS, in exchange for this demonstration, Tomar agreed to donate one "Scorpion"
lightbar to the Carisbad Police Department; and
WHEREAS, accepting this donation is in the financial interest of the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carisbad,
California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
