2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING OUT-OF-
^ STATE TRAVEL FOR POLICE DEPARTMENT STAFF TO
4 ATTEND A CALIFORNIA HOMICIDE INVESTIGATORS
ASSOCIATION CONFERENCE IN LAS VEGAS, NEVADA

6 WHEREAS, the City Council concurs that it is in the public interest to
J authorize out-of-state travel for police department staff to attend a four-day training
conference for homicide investigators; and
WHEREAS, funds are available in the FY 2011-12 Police Department

budget for the out-of-state travel.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
j2 Carisbad, California, as follows that:
13 1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. That out-of-state travel is hereby authorized in accordance with City policy
for two members of the police department to attend the California Homicide

Investigators Association annual conference in Las Vegas, Nevada, March 6
