1 RESOLUTION NO. 2012-038
2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING A DONATION OF $500 IN
SUPPORT OF THE CARLSBAD SENIOR CENTER AND
4 APPROPRIATION OF RECEIVED FUNDS.

5 WHEREAS, the Friday Afternoon Bridge Group donated funds in support of the
7 Carisbad Senior Center; and
8 WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept this donation in the amount of
9 $500;
10 WHEREAS, on January 5, 2012 the Senior Commission recommended
11 acceptance of the donation totaling $500 by the City Council.
12 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
13 Carisbad, California as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council does hereby accept $500 in cash donations.
3. That the City Council authorizes the finance director to appropriate the
$500 upon receipt to the Senior Center Special Revenue fund.

of the City of Carisbad on the 28*^ day of February, 2012, by the following vote to wit:
