3 CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING DONATION IN SUPPORT OF
LEO CARRILLO RANCH HISTORIC PARK

WHEREAS, on April 5, 2012, the Friends of Carrillo Ranch, Inc. presented the
City of Carlsbad with a donation of $920 to Leo Carrillo Ranch Historic Park Trust
Fund; and
WHEREAS, the donation was provided to purchase eight additional directors

chairs for seating in the Kindle Theater; and

^ ^ WHEREAS, on April 16, 2012 the Parks & Recreation Commission
j2 recommended the acceptance of the donation by the City Council; and
13 WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to acknowledge the continued generosity
14 and support of the Friends of Carrillo Ranch, Inc.
15 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, the following:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council does hereby accept a donation of $920.
3. That the City Council authorizes the finance director to appropriate the
received donation to the Leo Carrillo Ranch Trust Fund.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting of the City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 5*^ day of June, 2012, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council Members Hall, Kulchin, Blackburn, Douglas and Packard.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
