^ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
3 CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING AND APPROPRIATING
DONATIONS OF $1,000 IN CASH AND $3,006 IN IN-KIND SERVICES
4 IN SUPPORT OF THE EGGSTRAVAGANZA SPRING FESTIVAL.
WHEREAS, the EGGstravaganza Spring Festival events were held on

y April 7, 2012 in Carlsbad; and
8 WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept the donations of cash and in-
9 kind products and services totaling $4,006 in support of the EGGstravaganza Spring
Festival, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit 2 and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to acknowledge the generosity and support
of community vendors and organizations that donated to this special event; and
WHEREAS, on April 16, 2012, the Parks & Recreation Commission received the
cash and in-kind services totaling $4,006 and recommended acceptance by the Council;
and

WHEREAS, the $1,000 cash donation was received in FY 2011-2012, and was
18 not budgeted during the formal FY 2012-2013 budget process.
19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, the following:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council does hereby accept $4,006 in cash and in-kind
products and service donations as itemized in Exhibit 2 and authorizes the finance
director to appropriate received funds to the Parks 8c Recreation Special Events special
revenue fund.

of the City of Carlsbad on the 10*^ day of July, 2012, by the following vote to wit:
