RESOLUTION NO. 2012-214
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, AUTHORIZING AWARD
OF CONTRACT TO KEENAN & ASSOCIATES.
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the City requires professional
services of a third party administrator that is experienced in managing and administering
the City's workers' compensation claims.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
^ Carlsbad, California, as follows:
10 1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council approves the attached Agreement (Exhibit 2) awarding
the contract to Keenan & Associates to provide third party administration of
workers' compensation claims.
3. That the City Council authorizes the mayor to sign the contract on behalf of
the City.
PASSED. APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular IVIeeting ofthe City Council
of the City of Carlsbad on the 11th day of September 2012, by the following vote to wit:
AYES: Council iVIembers Hall, Kulchin, Blackburn, Douglas and Packard.
NOES: None.
ABSENT: None.
