2 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA. APPOINTING AN INTERIM
3 CITY ATTORNEY

^ WHEREAS, THE City Attorney has announced his intention to retire as of
6 December 31, 2012; and
7 WHEREAS, he will not return to the work place; and
8 WHEREAS, Assistant City Attorney Jane Mobaldi has the skills, knowledge and
ability to serve as the interim City Attorney until a successor City Attorney is appointed.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carisbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.

24 2. That Jane Mobaldi is appointed interim City Attorney until a successor City
15 Attorney is appointed.
16 3. Her bi-weekly salary shall not be modified until further resolution of the City
Council.
