A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
3 CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE CONTRACT FOR
CONSTRUCTION OF THE CORRUGATED METAL PIPE
4 REPLACEMENT PROGRAM AND LA COSTA AVENUE STORM
DRAIN REPLACEMENT PROGRAM (WASHINGTON STREET,
5 BADAJOZ PLACE, ELMWOOD STREET AND LA COSTA
AVENUE [2524] STORM DRAINS), PROJECT NOS. 6602 AND
6 6607. AS COMPLETE.
7 WHEREAS, the construction of the Corrugated Metal Pipe Replacement Program and
8 La Costa Avenue Storm Drain Replacement Program (Washington Street, Badajoz Place,
9 Elmwood Street and La Costa Avenue [2524] Storm Drains), Project Nos. 6602 and 6607, has
10 been completed to the City's satisfaction by Superior Gunite, Inc. on October 1, 2012; and
11 WHEREAS, the formal project Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
12 WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.
13 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Carisbad,
14 California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Corrugated Metal Pipe Replacement Program and La Costa Avenue
Storm Drain Replacement Program (Washington Street, Badajoz Place, Elmwood Street and La
Costa Avenue [2524] Storm Drains, specifically identified as Project Nos. 6602 and 6607 is
deemed complete and is hereby accepted by the City Council ofthe City of Carisbad.
3. The City Clerk of the City of Carisbad is hereby authorized and directed to
execute and record the Notice of Completion for the Corrugated Metal Pipe Replacement Program
and La Costa Avenue Storm Drain Replacement Program (Washington Street, Badajoz Place,
Elmwood Street and La Costa Avenue [2524] Storm Drains), Project Nos. 6602 and 6607.
