1 RESOLUTION NO. 2013-035
^ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
3 CARLSBAD, CAUFORNIA, ACCEPTING DONATIONS OF $6,000 IN
CASH AND $9,500 IN IN-KIND SERVICES IN SUPPORT OF THE
4 CARLSBAD TRIATHLON & WELLNESS WEEKEND.
^ WHEREAS, the 31^* Annual Carisbad Triathlon & Wellness Expo special
6 events were held on July 7 and 8, 2012 in Carlsbad; and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to accept the donations of cash and in-
kind products and services totaling $15,500 in support ofthe 31^* Annual Carlsbad

Triathlon & Wellness Weekend, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit 2 and
J1 made a part hereof; and
12 WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to acknowledge the generosity and support
13 of community vendors and organizations that donated to this special event; and
14 WHEREAS, on September 17, 2012, the Parks & Recreation Commission
received the cash and in-kind services totaling $15,500 and recommends acceptance
by the Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carisbad, California, the following:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the City Council does hereby accept $15,500 in cash and in-kind
22 products and service donations as itemized in Exhibit 2.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a Regular Meeting ofthe City Council
of the City of Carisbad on the 12*^ day of February, 2013, by the following vote to wit:
