RESOLUTION NO. 2013-085
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, ACCEPTING THE CONTRACT
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE OCCIDENTAL
INTERCEPTOR SEWER REHABILITATION,
PROJECT NO. 5522 AS COMPLETE.
WHEREAS, the construction of the Occidental Interceptor Sewer Rehabilitation,
Project No. 5522 was substantially completed to the city's satisfaction by Charles King
Connpany, Inc. on December 4, 2012; and
WHEREAS, the final project change order was executed on March 29, 2013; and
WHEREAS, the formal project Notice of Completion has been prepared; and
WHEREAS, all project costs have been established to date.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Carlsbad, California, as follows that:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the Occidental Interceptor Sewer Rehabilitation, specifically identified
as Project No. 5522 is deemed complete and is hereby accepted by the City Council of
the City of Carlsbad.
3. The City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is hereby authorized and directed to
execute and record the Notice of Completion for the Occidental Interceptor Sewer
Rehabilitation, Project No. 5522.

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Carlsbad on the 30*" day of April, 2013, by the following vote to wit:

Council Members Hall, Packard, Wood, Blackburn and Douglas.
None.
